Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler came in the year 1990 when she was just 19 years old, and won the Grammy in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. The award was impressive that was not solely due to her age, but because the album that was a part of her success, I've Got That Old Feeling was actually third release in Krauss's catalog. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It debuted in Champaign Illinois as she was 16. When she was 14, she signed with Rounder Records - one of the most revered folk music labels. And Krauss's accomplishments so young and astounding virtuosity have consistently been in awe of her dedication to bluegrass. The oldest and possibly the most neglected form of traditional American form of musical expression. Krauss was now maturing from a teen phenom into a seasoned music producer and musician.
