Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 saw her move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance during the night. She fought her first big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
